Mookkirattai Keerai Fresh | Red Hogweed | Punarnava 100gm

Mookkirattai also called as Red Hogweed in English is a Creeper plant grows in road sides, wet lands during rainy and in winter season. It is used in Southern India as Kalavai Keerai (Spinach Mix) along with other Spinach varieties as it can't be consumed alone. It is good in empowering our body health, bone health, thus many elders consume this on weekly basis.
Fresh Leaves of Mookkirattai Keerai along with its stems are available online in fresh, ready to cook condition. It is called as Punarnava or 
Gadha-cand or Gadahpurna in Hindi, Atakamamidi in Telugu, Kamme in Kannada, Spreading Hogweed in English. There is an another Spinach of this family, called as Saranai also called as Vatta Charanai which is less effective compared to Mookkirattai.
