Koyya also called as Guava in English is a small tree grows in all climate conditions and in all places of India. Its leaves are collected, dried well and ground into very fine powder. It is then filtered to make it free from unground particles. It is being used by our people since ancient times for various purposes.

It is called as Guava in English, Amrood in Hindi, Pera in Malayalam, Goya in Telugu, Sibehannu in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Psidium Guajava.

As per ancient Siddha Texts, people used it for Digestive Regulation, Blood Sugar Control, Menstrual Relief, Immunity Boost, Skin Care. To make it as a Herbal Tea, take 5gm of powder, boil in 200ml of water, filter, add any sweetener like honey if required, and consume. It can be taken once or twice a day as directed by the Physician.
