Kombarakku is collected from various trees like Poovarasu, Purasu and Ilanthai. It is available online as raw pisin. It is actually not a product of tree. It is the natural extract outcome of female insects called Laccifer Lacca. This can be used to cure various disease and also used for making Siddha and Ayurveda medicine since ancient time.
